ABOUT ME
Compassionate Therapy for Real Life Relationships

Vicki Curran, EdS, LPC, LMHC, NCC
Specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor approved to practice in the states of Florida and New Jersey. For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of helping couples, families and individuals navigate the challenges that life, love and parenting can bring. Whether you are struggling with communication, feeling disconnected from your partner, or facing tension at home, I provide a safe, supportive space where healing begins and growth happens.
I hold a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and an EdS (Post Masters Degree) in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been a Nationally Certified Counselor since 2003. My focus is on relational issues and helping couples with communication problems, stage of life challenges, mental load/invisible labor conflicts, parenting challenges, infidelity and other marital issues. I am also experienced with helping families to make the transitions necessary when going through a separation or divorce.

My Approach:
I believe that relationships are at the heart of our well-being, and that even the most painful moments can become turning points for deeper connection and personal growth. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity and collaboration. I use evidence-based approaches such as:
-
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
-
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
-
Family Systems Theory
-
Attachment Theory
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Together, we will work to uncover patterns, improve communication and build stronger emotional bonds ~ whether that is between partners, parents and children or within yourself.

Who I Work With:
I work with:
Couples seeking to strengthen or repair their relationship
Families navigating conflict, parenting stress, or blended family dynamics
Individuals struggling with anxiety, relational trauma or life transitions
Teens and Young Adults working through emotional and family challenges

Why I Do This Work:
I became a therapist because I have seen first-hand how powerful it can be when someone truly listens without judgement. Relationships are messy. Life gets hard. But I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, understood and supported ~ especially in their most significant relationships. Whether you are facing communication struggles, parenting challenges, relationship breakdowns, or you are simply feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to offer a calm, compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what's not working... and begin building what does. I know that with the right support, people can reconnect, repair and find a way to move forward.

I truly feel it is an honor and a privilege to walk alongside clients during some of their most vulnerable and courageous moments. If you are ready to start your therapy journey, or even if you're just exploring your options, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can create a path toward peace, healing, connection and clarity.
